Mercoledì 13 ottobre all’Istanbul Cafè di Squinzano (Le), uno dei più longevi e apprezzati live club del Salento, appuntamento con Zombina and the Skeletones, una horror rock band di Liverpool, formata nel 1998 dalla cantante Zombina e dal cantautore Doc Horror. Le esibizioni del gruppo sono caratterizzate da costumi di scena sporchi di sangue e atmosfere buie. Oltre a numerosi ep e singoli, la band ha pubblicato i cd (sempre autoprodotti) Taste the Blood of Zombina and The Skeletones (2002), Death Valley High (2006), Monsters On 45 (2006) e Out of the Crypt and Into Your Heart (2008). Il loro genere è influenzato da Misfits, The Meteors e The Damned. Il risultato è un ibrido tra l'horror punk, il death rock e il gothic rock. Sul palco Zombina Venus Hatchett (voce), Doc Horror (chitarra/voce), Jonny Tokyo (tastiere/voce), Jettison Dervish (basso), Ben Dur (batteria).


Venerdì 15 ottobre serata metal con Winter of life, Silvered, Seven Depths, From funeral dust, Hate inc.

Sabato 16 ottobre l’Istanbul ospita The psychedelic sound of Tobia Lamare, una notte ricca di musica soul, psichedelica, groove, acid jazz, funky, indie folk, electro.
